Crimson Dot
Flower type: Annual (Stores water in its leaves)This small flower grows up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. Its orange-yellow stem is thin, and the large, moss green leaves are thin with rounded edges. The leaves grow from the base and are the same length as the stem.
Two giant flowers sit at the end of each stem. The flowers are 13 cm (5.1 inches) wide, with lime petals on the lower layer and lime petals decorated with crimson dots on the inner layer. The central disk is cream. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 50 curved petals. They are very delicate.
It has a delicate scent that smells like bonfire smoke, and it has very little pollen, but can cause allergic reactions. It is pollinated by the wind.
