Embermoss

This orange moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas In rainforests, and On rotten logs.
It is big, growing up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps and they spread and grow quickly, and is extremely light.
When mature, emerald kidney-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release thousands of spores.
