Silverbell

This big tree grows up to 85 meters (278.9 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 340 years old. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.

It has a long and flexible, straight trunk covered in very thick, wrinkled, silver and white bark, and inside, the hard wood is gray.

The small bunches of branches are short, rigid and upright and are covered with thick bunches of sticky, large, pleated leaves with toothed edges. The leaves themselves are cream on the edges and yellow at the center.

In early spring, it produces many giant, indigo blossoms with finger-like petals. They are sturdy and have an intensely strong scent that smells like bonfire smoke.

In late summer it forms large, lime, shelled seeds.

The roots are thick and spread across the surface, as well as underground, and overall the tree is sturdy, flexible, and difficult to uproot or break.

Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with grassy ground between them.
