Sunshine

Flower type: Biennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This modest-sized flower grows up to 10 inches (25 cm) tall. Its orange stems grow in bunches of 4 and are thin and straight, and the huge, yellow-green leaves are thin with smooth edges. The leaves grow from the base and are the same length as the stem.

Each stem splits 3 to 5 times; a single small flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 15 cm (5.9 inches) wide, with each petal a slightly different shade of green. The flower head is largely flat with 5 widely spaced narrow petals. They are sturdy.

It has a scent that varies in strength that smells like rich perfume, and it has lots of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions. It is pollinated by a small species of bird.

It is difficult to kill and will quickly regrow if it falls or if its limbs are knocked off.
