Blueleaf Tree
Tree type: Deciduous (Stores water in its leaves)This short tree grows up to 3 meters (9.8 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 117 years old. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.
It has a long and flexible, slanted trunk covered in knobbly, light gray bark, and inside, the soft wood is burgundy-brown.
The branches are tall, rigid and upright and are covered with large amounts of fuzzy, large, stiff, pointed leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are solid slate with florescent blue lines.
In late summer it forms tiny, amber berries.
The roots are fine and grow in a large web, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.
Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
