Sunshine

This short flower grows up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. Its gray-green stems grow in bunches of 8 and are wispy and straight, and the huge, brown leaves are dark olive or turquoise on the underside and are circular with toothed edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the stem.

Lots of giant flowers grow along the length of the stem. The flowers are 18 cm (7.1 inches) wide, with each petal a slightly different shade of bright yellow. The flower head is made up of 5 petals in raised layers. They are very delicate.

It has an intense scent that smells like roses, and it has lots of pollen. It is pollinated by a small species of bird, but is also particularly attractive to bees.
