Orangegrass
Grass type: Annual (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This small, orange grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The wide stalks grow in small clumps that are durable.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, dark grey tuft.
During the early autumn, it produces very little pollen, but can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of small grains.
