Moss Green Succulent

This big cactus grows up to 76 feet (23.2 meters) tall. It splits near the top to form 5 stiff, pointed stems. Each stem is moss green, and is covered in thick sheets of fine, cream, hair-like spines. The spherical body is yellow-green, and is covered in lots of flexible lime spines.

It is slow growing, taking 37 years to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a handful of flowers, with each petal a slightly different shade of blue, grow at the top, reappearing after 2 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is shaped like a heart made up of 17 raised, narrow petals. It has a strong scent that smells like leather.

The cactus's skin is thin, the yellow flesh is rough, and the pink sap is thin.
