Purplevine

This big vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 96 feet (29.3 meters) and growing as high as 80 feet (24.4 meters).

It takes 20 months for the brown stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 1.3 feet (41 cm) and are hard and brittle.

The very thick, crispy leaves reach up to 1.0 foot (30 cm) in length. They are vivid purple and light grey, and have toothed edges.

During late spring, the vine produces many clusters of average peach flowers.
