Aquamarine Succulent

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This small leaf succulent grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall. The sickle shaped stem is aquamarine, and is dotted with small lime spines. The ripped-edged, pleated leaves are found in white and amber varieties. Large amounts of them grow from the base in a loosely patterned way. The leaves are rigid, but easily come away when pulled.

It is steady-growing, taking 4 years to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with petals that are generally green; each flower tends to be a variation of this colour grow at the top, reappearing once every 2 years. The flower head is largely flat with handfuls of widely spaced round-tipped petals. It has a faint scent that smells like fermented fruit.

The leaf succulent's skin is very thick, the washed-out orange flesh is sticky, and the copper sap is thin.

It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
It is very resistant to fire damage.
