Yellow Flame Moss

This yellow moss is commonly found growing in giant clumps On rotten logs, and In rainforests.
It is big, growing up to 10 inches (25 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches, and is slightly strong.
When mature, emerald flame-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release dozens of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
