Copper

This small caudiciform grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The wide stem is copper, and is covered in thick sheets of fine, orange, hair-like spines. It has a wonky, thin, ashy red trunk atop a thick platform of rough, exposed roots. The branches are wide and moss green and trail down to the ground.

The irregular-edged, teardrop-shaped leaves are olive with white tips. They are resilient, but easily come away when pulled.

It is fast growing, taking 3 months to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with solid light brown petals and a magenta central disk grow at the top, reappearing once every 6 years. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 40 petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like lavender.

The caudiciform's skin is thick, the sky blue flesh is rubbery, and the black sap is thin.
