Lime Moss

This yellow-green moss is commonly found blanketing large areas On rotten logs, In moorlands, and In marshes.
It is large, growing up to 9 inches (23 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is very resilient.
When mature, emerald oblong capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release thousands of spores.

It can survive a very long time without water.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
The sap is edible and extremely savoury.
