Crimson Grass

This small, burgundy grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The finger-like stalks grow in large clumps that are flexible.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, crimson tuft.

During the early summer, it produces a fair amount of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of tiny grains.
