Graygrass
Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in its leaves)This modest-sized, gray grass grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The long, tapering stalks grow in small clumps that are light and frail and they overwhelm an area rapidly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, orange flower.
During the early winter, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a few small grains.
It is suitable for making strong rope
It can survive a long time without water.
