Pinefire

This big tree grows up to 69 meters (226.4 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 596 years old. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.

It has a wide, straight trunk covered in silky, pine-coloured bark, and inside, the very dense wood is burgundy-brown.

The abundance of branches are very short and thin, with dozens of twigs covered with thick bunches of tiny, cyan needles. The needles themselves are resistant.

In late summer it produces medium-sized, drab orange, shelled seeds.

The roots spread far and go deep underground, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.

Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with grassy ground between them.
