Silvergrass

This short, gray grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The needle-like stalks grow in thin clumps that are light and frail.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, dark brown puff.

During the late autumn, it produces very little pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of small grains.
