Golden Spikegrass
Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in its stem)This average-sized, orange grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The 4 pointed stalks grow in thick clumps that are light and frail and they are exceptionally hardy.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, gold spikelet.
During the early winter, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a few tiny grains.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
