Amberpetal
Flower type: Biennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This small flower grows up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. Its olive or cyan stem is wispy and splits into 10 branching stems a quarter of the way up, and the small, yellow leaves are broad, flat with smooth edges. The leaves alternate on the stem from about halfway up, up to the flower head.
Many large flowers grow in drooping bunches like grapes. The flowers are 6 cm (2.4 inches) wide, with each petal a slightly different shade of amber. The flower head is made up of 4 petals in raised layers. They detach easily.
It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like pepper, and it has very little pollen. It is pollinated by a small species of bird.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
