Aquamarine Clinger

This massive flower grows up to 11.2 feet (3.4 meters) tall. Its emerald stem is wispy, and the miniature, brown leaves are needle-like with smooth edges. The leaves alternate on the stem.

Each stem splits 4 to 7 times; a single tiny flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 77 cm (30.3 inches) wide, with petals that are slate at the sides and aquamarine at the center. The flower head is made up of 32 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight sphere. They are very delicate.

It has a weak scent that smells like warm milk, and it has lots of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions. It is pollinated by the wind, but is also visited by some specific types of insect.
