Moss Green Petal Flower
Flower type: Annual (Sheds its leaves in winter)This short flower grows up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. Its yellow-green stems grow in bunches of 3 and are wispy with a curved tip, and the miniature, emerald and moss green leaves are finger-like with rounded edges. The leaves alternate on the stem from about halfway up, up to the flower head.
Dozens of large flowers grow in drooping bunches like grapes. The flowers are 11 cm (4.3 inches) wide, with aquamarine petals on the lower layer and hazel petals decorated with cyan dots on the inner layer. The central disk is copper. The flower head is made up of many petals in raised layers. They are sturdy.
It has a delicate scent that smells like musk, and it has very little pollen; it can cause allergic reactions. It is pollinated by the wind.
