Fruit Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This small fruit tree grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall and lives for up to 25 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 38 years old. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.

It has a knobbly, wonky trunk covered in knobbly, mahogany-coloured bark, and inside, the light wood is white.

The abundance of branches are short, rigid and upright and are covered with large amounts of large, thin leaves with serrated edges. The leaves themselves are sky blue and muted yellow.

In early spring, it produces many balls of large, magenta blossoms with spiral shaped petals. They are hardy and have an overpowering scent that smells like freshly washed clothes.

In late summer it produces tiny, oval fruit. The leathery turquoise skin is delicate and spicy and salty, and the crunchy peach flesh is sweet and very juicy. The pastel green seed is large and sits at the end of the fruit.

The roots spread far and go deep underground, and overall the tree is sturdy and difficult to uproot.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with the space between filled with undergrowth.

It is bio-luminescent.
It is almost impossible to grow from cuttings.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
