Green Grass
Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This small, green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The stiff, pointed stalks grow in extensive patches that are flimsy and they spread and grow quickly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, beige flower.
During the mid-autumn, it produces very little pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a few small grains.
The stems are covered in large spikes.
The entire plant is edible and the grains arevery salty.
