Yellow Moss

This yellow moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In marshes.
It is average-sized, growing up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps and they are slow to spread and grow, and is overwhelmingly frail.
When mature, emerald oblong capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release hundred of spores; it can cause severe allergic reactions.
