Lime Petal

This modest-sized flower grows up to 1.4 feet (43 cm) tall. Its lime green stems grow in bunches of 3 and are very thick and straight, and the miniature, hazel and beige leaves are dark light brown and moss green on the underside and are long, narrow with wavy edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and more leaves grow in pairs along the length of the stem.

4 to 7 small flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 6 cm (2.4 inches) wide, with petals that are either lime or pink, with a yellow center. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 50 petals. They are very delicate.

It has no scent, and it has lots of pollen,but it does not cause many allergic reactions. It is pollinated by a small species of bird, but is also visited by some specific types of insect.
