Graygrass

This short, gray-green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The pleated stalks grow in small clumps that are sturdy and flexible.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, pink tuft.

During the early winter, it produces an average amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of large grains.
