Blueberry Succulent

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This small leaf succulent grows up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall. The asymmetrical stem is yellow-green, and is covered in brittle washed-out green spines. The stocky leaves are generally sky blue. Large amounts of them grow on very thick, black or pink branches that are long and thin. The leaves are flexible, but do not detach easily.

It is very slow growing, taking 9 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with black petals that gradient shift to sky blue on the outer edge. The central disk is amber grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is made up of handfuls of petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight cube. It has a fairly strong scent that smells like mango.

The leaf succulent's skin is very thick, the olive flesh is smooth, and the ashy red sap is thin and causes vomiting if consumed.

It is bio-luminescent.
It is suitable for making strong rope
The stems are covered in large spikes.
It actively smothers and kills off other plants.
