Golden Moss

This orange-yellow moss is commonly found growing in small clumps In moorlands, and In heathlands.
It is short, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps and they are exceptionally hardy, and is slightly flimsy.
When mature, emerald shield-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release dozens of spores.

It can grow in even the most barren lands.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
It is said to be able to live for hundreds of years.
