Blood Peach

This average-sized shrub grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall and lives for around 10 years. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has dozens of long and flexible, crooked stems covered in fine, wrinkled, white with black speckled bark, and the wood inside is white with black speckles.

The branches trail down across the ground with dozens of twigs that and are covered with handfuls of huge, long, narrow, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are blood red on the edges and peach at the center, delicate and covered in fine hairs.

It produces handfuls of small, lime flowers with 7 oblong shaped petals. They are hardy and have a strong scent that smells like fresh linen. In late spring it forms smallwhite seed pods.
