Climbing plantVine (Amber)
Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This average-sized vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 32 feet (9.8 meters) and growing as high as 265 feet (80.8 meters).
It takes 6 months for the gray-green stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 2 inches (5 cm) and are smooth and rubbery.
The stiff, pointed, fuzzy leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are either amber, or florescent red with light grey splotches, and have smooth edges.
During late spring, the vine produces a handful of giant lilac flowers, and during the early summer, after flowering, it produces plenty of small seed pods.
It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
The sap is blood red.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
It comes in 3 varieties, each with a different leaf colour.
