Orangebell

This large flower grows up to 3.8 feet (1.2 meters) tall. Its gray-green stems grow from the base of the plant in bunches of 7 and are very thick and straight, and split into many branching stems three quarters of the way up, and the large, orange leaves are wide with toothed edges. 15 leaves grow at the base of the stem.

1 to 3 tiny flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 39 cm (15.4 inches) wide, with petals that are generally faded yellow; each flower tends to be a variation of this colour. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 25 curved petals. They are sturdy.

It has a delicate scent that smells like something putrid, and it has lots of pollen. It is pollinated by the wind, but is also visited by a variety of insects.
