Emerald Flower

This small flower grows up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. Its emerald stems grow in bunches of 5 and are wispy and straight, and the huge, lime green leaves are needle-like with rounded edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and more leaves grow in pairs along the length of the stem.

Several giant flowers grow in a bunch at the end of the stem. The flowers are 3 cm (1.2 inches) wide, with petals that are olive on the underside and green on the top. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 25 curved petals. They are very delicate.

It has a powerful scent that smells like musk, and it has excessive amounts of pollen; it can can cause allergic reactions. It is pollinated by insects and is particularly attractive to bees.
