Indigo

This average-sized flower grows up to 1.4 feet (43 cm) tall. Its yellow-green stem is thick, and the miniature, emerald leaves are pleated with tattered edges. The leaves alternate on the stem.

Two small flowers sit at the end of each stem. The flowers are 36 cm (14.2 inches) wide, with alternating petals of indigo and indigo, with a magenta central disk. The flower head is shaped like a heart made up of several tightly layered, round-tipped petals. They detach easily.

It has an overpowering scent that smells like meat, and it has lots of pollen. It is pollinated by insects and is visited by a large variety of them.
