Orange Moss

This bright orange moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In damp forests, In bogs, and On trees.
It is large, growing up to 10 inches (25 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they are slow to spread and grow, and is very durable.
When mature, emerald circular capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release dozens of spores.
