Yellow Moss

This yellow moss is commonly found blanketing tiny areas On trees, In rainforests, and In marshes.
It is massive, growing up to 1.4 feet (43 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches and they are exceptionally hardy, and is very delicate.
When mature, emerald crescent-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release thousands of spores.
