Bluebell

This small cactus grows up to 8 feet (2.4 meters) tall. The stiff, pointed stem is olive or ashy blue, and is covered in thick bunches of rigid red spines. The mushroom-shaped body is silver, and is covered in brittle slate spines.

It is very slow growing, taking 23 years to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with solid slate petals decorated with bronze lines and a slate central disk grow at the top, reappearing once every 8 years. The flower head is made up of 18 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight star. It has a delicate scent that smells like pepper.

The cactus's skin is delicate, the sky blue flesh is smooth, and the turquoise sap is thin.
