Emerald Clump Moss

This lime green moss is commonly found growing in giant clumps In damp forests, In rainy mountain ranges, and In moorlands.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they are exceptionally hardy, and is slightly durable; it can easily endure being trodden on.
When mature, emerald cylindrical capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release thousands of spores.
