Crimson Heath Moss

This pink-red moss is commonly found growing in tiny clumps In heathlands, and In rainforests.
It is small, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps, and is slightly rigid.
When mature, emerald teardrop-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release hundred of spores.
