Yellowgrass

Grass type: Biennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This small, yellow-green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The broad, flat stalks grow in large clumps that are sturdy and flexible and they spread and grow quickly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, light brown spikelet.

During the early summer, it produces a modest amount of pollen; it can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of small grains.

It spreads easily and often blanket large areas.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
It is possible to grow it from cuttings.
