Yellow Puffgrass

This short, yellow grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The perforated stalks grow in small clumps that are prone to bending and snapping under stress and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, peach puff.

During the mid-autumn, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of medium-sized grains.
