Copper Moss

This copper moss is commonly found growing in small clumps In heathlands, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is small, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches, and is slightly frail.
When mature, emerald crescent-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release dozens of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
