Turquoise?

Fruit Tree type: Deciduous (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This small fruit tree grows up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall and lives for up to 30 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 38 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a narrow, straight trunk covered in hard, ridged, gray bark, and inside, the flexible wood is yellow-brown.

The branches are very short and slender and are covered with very large amounts of large, needle-like leaves with toothed edges. The leaves themselves are found in blue and blue varieties.

In early spring, it produces hundreds of small, gentle purple blossoms with kidney-shaped petals. They fall easily and have a faint scent that smells like vanilla.

In late autumn it produces tiny, stiff, pointed fruit. The sticky beige skin is thick and bitter and spicy, and the crunchy turquoise flesh is sweet and oily. The olive seed is tiny and sits at the top of the fruit.

The roots are fine and grow in a large web, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with clear space between them.

It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
