Caramel trumpet vine
Flower type: Biennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This short flower grows up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. Its gray-green stems grow in bunches of 7 and are very thin with a curved tip, and the small, green leaves are perforated with wavy edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and a pair of leaves grow at the base of the flower head.
Each stem splits 6 to 10 times; a single tiny flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 14 cm (5.5 inches) wide, with gold petals on the lower layer and caramel petals decorated with muted yellow dots on the inner layer. The central disk is light brown. The flower head is made up of 4 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight trumpet. They are hardy.
It has a fairly strong scent that smells like cinnamon, and it has lots of pollen. It is pollinated by the wind and is ignored by most insect species.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
