Pampas Grass

This big, gray-green grass grows up to 4 feet (1.2 meters) tall. The very thin stalks grow in large clumps that are rigid.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, dark brown tuft.

During the early winter, it produces an average amount of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of large grains.
