Bloodgrass

This small, pink-red grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The wide stalks grow in small clumps that are flexible and they spread and grow quickly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, hazel flower.

During the late autumn, it produces excessive amounts of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of small grains.
