Crimsongrass

Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in its stem)

This average-sized, red grass grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The asymmetrical stalks grow in sparse patches that are durable.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, violet spikelet.

During the early summer, it produces lots of pollen,but it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of giant grains.

It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
It absorbs an exceptionally large amount of water each day.
