Pink-red

Tree type: Coniferous (Stores water in its leaves)

This average-sized tree grows up to 16 meters (52.5 feet) tall and lives seemingly forever, with many known specimen being tens of thousands of years old. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has a long and flexible, straight trunk covered in delicate, cracked, brown-green bark, and inside, the dense wood is pale yellow.

The abundance of branches are short, rigid and upright, covered with very large amounts of huge, pink-red needles. The needles themselves are tough.

In late summer it produces medium-sized, beige, shelled seeds.

The roots are long and grow straight down, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.

Forests of this species feature well-spaced trees, with grassy ground between them.

It is said to be able to live for hundreds of years.
It coexists peacefully with other plants.
