Blue Spiralvine

This average-sized shrub grows up to 4 feet (1.2 meters) tall and lives for around 86 years. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.

It has many slender, crooked stems covered in waxy, brown and grey bark, and the wood inside is pale yellow.

The branches trail down across the ground with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with small bunches of huge, broad, flat, leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are found in violet, dark grey and florescent orange varieties, sturdy and waxy.

In late spring it produces hundreds of giant, sky blue flowers with spiral shaped petals. They are hardy and have a delicate scent that smells like paint.
