Silvervine

Grass type: Annual (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This average-sized, silver grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The circular stalks grow in small clumps that are light and frail and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, violet tuft.

During the early winter, it produces lots of pollen, but it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of medium-sized grains.

The stems are covered in large spikes.
It commonly grows in large patches.
The leaves have medicinal properties.
