Purpleberry
Flower type: Perennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This short flower grows up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. Its black stems grow in bunches of 7 and are thick with a curved tip, and the giant, lime green leaves are long, narrow with smooth edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the stem.
A single tiny flower sits at the end of the stem. The flowers are 5 cm (2.0 inches) wide, with bold purple petals and a yellow center. The flower head is largely flat with several raised narrow petals. They fall easily.
It has the faintest scent that smells like fermented fruit, and it has lots of pollen. It is a self-pollinator.

It is difficult to kill and will quickly regrow if it falls or if its limbs are knocked off.
